Maiden Flight of my latest Savage 30 DS Below:-
Maiden flight of a new Savage and Current 30" Span WR holder @232mph. The Flying weight of this Savage is 508g/17.91oz.
I took the throws from the prototype, CG etc. I instantly found it was a little nose heavy as it wouldn't axial roll but i thought lets just get her down the back.. A few clicks of down trim was required. When applying Aileron she did yaw a little but was manageable.
The conditions where by far the roughest I've experienced up there but the power was HUGE.
